此柏位于延安市黄陵县黄帝陵轩辕庙西院黄帝文化展室，树龄约3700年，树高18米，胸围5.25米。古柏朝北的一个分杈向大门方向伸展，似张开的臂膀欢迎来自海内外的游客，故名“迎客柏”。在黄帝庙西侧大院内，文物展室有陶器、青铜器、瓷器和石刻造像，代表性地反映了近50年来黄陵出土文物的全貌和历史文化内涵；书画展室有绘画、书法等作品，体现了海内外炎黄子孙对始祖的崇敬和爱戴之情；祭祀文化展室以文字介绍、图片展览、实物展览三种形式向游客展示祭祀黄帝的历史沿革和重大祭祀活动。   

Guest-greeting Cypress 

The cypress is located in the western yard of the Xuanyuan Temple of Huangling County, Yan’an City. It features an an age of some 3700 years, a height of 18 meters and a girth of 5.25 meters. A huge branch extends northward towards the direction of gate, like a welcoming arm towards guests near and far and hence it has its name “Guest-Greeting Cypress.” Pottery, bronze wares, ceramics and carved stones totaling 120 items are on display in the culture exhibition centre in the western yard of Huangdi Temple, which are the epitome of the entire antique unearthed in this area during the recent 50 years. The Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition Center here collects many valuable paintings and calligraphies that are the congregation of different schools and aesthetic styles.
